Liverpool release statement after Man Utd team bus attacked at Anfield
Liverpool have released a statement condemning the damage caused to the Manchester United team bus prior to Sunday's Game . Videos circulating on social media on Sunday showed a glass bottle being thrown at the Man Utd team bus outside of Anfield ahead of the Premier League clash. The bottle appeared to smash a part of a window on the upper deck of the bus. In a statement released by Liverpool following the incident, the club have confirmed that they are working with the Merseyside Police in order to identify the culprit of the "reprehensible behaviour": "Liverpool Football Club utterly condemns the actions that led to damage being caused to the Manchester United team bus during its arrival at Anfield this afternoon.
